Radiology Team

 

Through the use of advanced medical technology, Up & Open Imaging provides esteemed radiologists within the Metroplex with immediate digital access to patient images allowing for rapid turnaround times.  Reports will be available within 24 hours.  STAT reads are available upon physician request.  The radiologists with whom Up & Open Imaging has contracted to provide image reads are as follows:

Neuroradiology- Dr. Kendall Jones, M.D.- Medical Director                                                               Kendall M. Jones, M.D. graduated from Stanford University with honors in Biology and honors in the Humanities before receiving an M.D. from George Washington University Medical School.  Following a one-year internship in straight internal medicine, Dr. Jones completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Arizona, where he also completed a one-year fellowship in neuroradiology.  Dr. Jones completed additional neuroradiology training at Harvard Medical School where he was promoted to a faculty teaching appointment.  Following Harvard, Dr. Jones came to Dallas where he has practiced neuroradiology for the past 18 years.  Dr. Jones has 19 publications and book chapters, and has lectured nationally and internationally.  He is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology, and is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.

Musculoskeletal- Dr. Charles Tsai, M.D.                                                                                                         Charles Tsai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  After earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Tsai served an internship in Anatomic and Surgical Pathology, a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Nuclear Radiology at New York University Medical Center.

He completed an additional fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, with the country’s foremost orthopedic MR radiologist.  Dr. Tsai brings 7 years of private practice in MSK imaging, and, prior to the founding of Virtual Orthopedic Imaging, served as clinical director for Orthopedic Imaging Services, a large, 27-person orthopedic surgery group.

Dr. Tsai is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with additional certification in Nuclear Radiology (Special Competence in Nuclear Radiology).
